We’re excited to share a significant step forward in how we deliver care: Purely Care is partnering with Feebris to bring digital health monitoring into the homes of the people we support.
What This Means for Our Clients
Our care workers will now use the Feebris digital platform to capture and monitor vital health metrics during domiciliary care visits. Feebris is a clinically validated tool that enables non-clinical staff to conduct thorough health assessments in the community — bringing a level of insight to home care that was previously reserved for GP surgeries and hospital settings.
Monitoring Against NEWS2 Baselines
At the heart of this partnership is the integration of the National Early Warning Score 2 (NEWS2) — the standardised assessment tool used across the NHS to identify patients at risk of deterioration. By using Feebris to measure and track key health metrics, our care workers can monitor each client against their individual NEWS2 baseline, flagging any changes that could indicate a decline in health.
This means concerns can be identified early — before they become crises.
Direct Reporting to GPs
When Feebris identifies a change in a client’s health status, that information can be shared directly with their GP in a clear, structured format. This creates a vital link between the home care setting and primary care, giving GPs the information they need to act quickly and appropriately.
The goal is straightforward: fewer unnecessary hospital admissions, and better, more proactive care delivered where people feel most comfortable — at home.
Why This Matters
Hospital admissions are distressing for clients and their families, costly to the NHS, and often avoidable when health changes are caught early. Domiciliary care workers visit clients regularly and are often the first to notice something isn’t quite right — but historically, they’ve had limited tools to translate that instinct into clinical action.
Feebris changes that. It empowers our teams to go beyond task-based care and contribute meaningfully to health outcomes.
Looking Ahead
This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to raising standards in domiciliary care. We believe that people receiving care at home deserve the same quality of health oversight as those in residential settings — and with Feebris, we’re making that a reality.
