Career Progression
At Purely Care we love to develop home grown talent. In fact, most of our office staff have care experience and started their career dealing face to face with our clients. We always try to fill vacancies from internal applicants.
We believe it is essential all our colleagues understand how our business works and who we serve. The best way to do this is by delivering hands on care and working as a home care assistant.
We have a clear career path with opportunities for career progression. You can progress to roles for senior home care assistant, care supervisor, care co-ordinator and management and training roles. So what ever care job you start in there are opportunities for career development.

Recruitment checks and training for care jobs
At Purely Care, our recruitment processes include background checks for all our staff. A new or updated criminal records check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is mandatory.
We specialise in care for the elderly and disabled in their own homes. Hence, we provide all our staff with specialised training to help them provide the best care and support for all activities of daily living. The tasks we assist with include toileting, helping to wash and dress, bathing, prompting medication, meal preparation, and taking part in community and social activities.
Our initial care training in Norfolk, meets the Skills for Care standards and blends face to face and online training. Successful candidates are subsequently awarded the Care Certificate. This is followed up by specialised training to meet customers’ needs and regular refresher training. In addition, we encourage our staff to study, a QCF level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care being desirable. For more information on the training programmes and facilities, feel free to call our office.
